2009 Independent web developer

Founded my own company to better pursue my passion of developing elegant and easy to use websites in Django.

2007-2008 EURid

Created the public website of the European Registry of .eu Domain Names. Built a newsletter manager and various other in-house applications.

2007 Nuance Communications

Oversaw development of text-to-speech systems in various languages. Directed specialists in those languages.

2004-2006 Hex Software

Designed and created generic templates for Hex´s in-house blogging application. Created custom web sites for politicians and small companies. Worked with diverse clients, such as Vodafone and Real Networks.

Education

Graduated from the University of Iceland with a BA in English and an MA in Language Technology.
